Shipping & Delivery

Uniquely Tasmanian uses Fastway Couriers and Australia Post to send our packages to you. Whichever service we use is up to you, just select your preferred method of shipping in the checkout.

 

DELIVERY COSTS

 

FASTWAY COURIERS

Fastway provides next day delivery to most major cities and towns within Tasmania. Fastway Couriers automatically provide tracking information and carry insurance cover for parcels.

Delivery costs using Fastway couriers are as follows;

Other places in Tas  $12.50  3-4 days from dispatch

 

AUSTRALIA POST

Standard parcel post $20

Express post for parcels up to 5kg including salmon or cheese $25

(these will be packaged in special boxes to keep items cool)

 

DELIVERY TIMES AND POSSIBLE DELAYS

Uniquely Tasmanian makes every effort to deliver an order as soon as possible or on the date requested. All orders are now posted on Mondays onl. Purchases will be processed between 1 and 5 days after purchase. We use highly reputable courier companies for our deliveries. However, this is not always possible due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control. By making a purchase you agree that late delivery does not entitle you to cancel an order, or request a refund.

Delivery of items is subject to availability, and Uniquely Tasmanian cannot accept responsibility or liability for any item not available or for the timeliness of deliveries.

 

REFUNDS

Our products are packaged carefully to ensure that no damage should occur during transit from us to you. In the unlikely event that our products arrive damaged we will gladly replace all damaged items or provide a refund for the value of the affected goods. If an item is damaged please contact us as soon as possible to arrange replacement or refunds. Refund requests will only be accepted up to 3 days after receiving your purchases.

 

AUTHORITY TO LEAVE

If you are not going to be at home at the time of your delivery you can grant us ‘Authority to Leave’ the parcel at the delivery address. All you need to do is give us details of where you would like your parcels to be left. Details you give could be ‘leave at back door’ or ‘leave under the stairs out the back’ we will pass this on to the courier. By authorising for the parcel to be left, you acknowledge that Uniquely Tasmanian can take no responsibility for lost or stolen gifts.

If no one is at home, and an ‘Authority to Leave’ is not provided, the courier will leave a collection card for the recipient to call and arrange a suitable delivery time, or collection from the depot. Where a redelivery is required, the courier may charge a redelivery fee which you will be responsible for paying. Your credit card will be charged the amount within 2 weeks of delivery.
